Steve NyhofThe reason this system was developed was because Google has changed some rules concerning duplicated company website's. This system addresses these issues by conforming to Google's compliance standards while incorporating many features no other one website or system envelops.

  1. This website CMS is vital to marketing on the Internet. In fact, without a website, you cannot exist on the Internet. Well, not effectively as a marketer.
  2. A website is one of the least expensive marketing tools that have the potential for the largest returns on investment on the planet. - period!
  3. Internet marketing is different than other mediums because it is not only very important what you say, or how you say it, but along side that, you must use words people are entering into the Google search field looking for your offer. What people enter to search is called a keyword, or keyword phrase. While there are many other forms of advertising on and off the Internet that do not require keyword rich content, without learning this skill and mind set, your website will seldom be found in the organic search listings.
  4. Today your website needs to be developed to be SEO friendly to operate on a Google's PPC adwords campaign. Keywords and Keyword Phrases must become second nature to you to compete.
  5. Go to Google Keyword Tool to begin your search on what you would like to market your website on, by knowing who you want to market your offer too. This will help you begin to understand what content you will want to enter into your landing page. This will also begin to help you understand what domain name you will want to find for this website. Notes: You are welcome to name your new pages anything you like, except for the "home" page and the disclaimer pages.  The home page url (found in the Metadata tab) must be named home for your home page to show up.  If you accidentally rename the home page, and you find that your cannot get to the main domain name on your site, simply go to the Home page in admin, click on the Metadata tab and name the URL home.

Always use the Save button (bottom right) while you work.  This is the Internet and any number of things can cause you to loose connection. Keep saving your work! On the bottom left is your page history, if you mess up you can always go back.

Clicking the Save button does not publish your changes. When you are happy with your changes, click on the Save and Publish button to publish your page to the Internet.

During editing, use the Draft link located at the bottom left to view your work. In Draft mode, you may see more of your pages show up, this is normal and allows you to see and navigate to other page content.

2. Setting Up Your Footer

Your new landing page has several added links on the bottom to point to additional websites or social sites you are associated with. When we refer to Global, this means that any element that is global effects every page on your site, not just single local pages. Your Page Footer is a global element.

Now you have learned a little about external linking and inserting images.

3. Connecting Your Signup Form

Once your page is setup, you need to connect the Signup forms with your company and your aweber account. (Please forgive me, I was just getting over a nasty cold!)

4. Testing Your System

Note: Only one unique email is allowed into the CCP list in the back office. When you enter an email that already has been entered, it will not show up. Your system is not broken.

Micro Networking The Landing Page System

Micro Networking the LandingPages system is a great way to get your website(s) listed and ranking well in Google organic listings. This video will show you how to use the Google Wonder Wheel to boost your exposure. In your website Resources page you will find an option for further training on Micro Networking.

Notes:
Don't forget to add images at the bottom of your landing page when it makes sense to do it. Even one at the bottom, right justified. Give your images names that reflect what the image is about. Example: image-home-business.jpg or photo-internet-marketing.jpg

Make sure to include the Alt"" or Title"" tag description: home business, etc., again it must reflect what the image is about. I also use my name many times, home business by Steve Nyhof. This is also branding, and these images will show up in Google images.

For non-topic images, like Buy Now or Submit buttons, use only a number. Example: 123.jpg, or 12a.gif and 12b.gif. This tells Google that these are not important to the page content.

Additional resources to help you toward your goal. Building your website will take time, but it's content must be entered for SEO BEFORE you can begin to promote it on PPC. Your goal should be to get your site on PPC as soon as possible, but that may take a month or two of learning and fine tuning your site pages during this time. Take time to research all the info you can on SEO. Here is a good place to start.

Over 200 SEO factors Search Engine’s “Google” take into account when reviewing a page and its quality.

Adwords RichesWhen you are ready, you will want to get a copy of "Adwords Riches" which has been recognized by Perry Marshall and Jonathan Budd to name a few. Continue Building Your Website

Below is a sample flow chart of how to build and link your website. Just follow the steps. This is not a detailed step by step as it assumes you have an understanding of the system and it's functions by this point. This is just to help you understand the flow and structure of building your website.

1. Either you or one of our content writers need to fill out the Home page. This is the main landing page, and sense every website needs a home page, this is where we begin.

2. Your website includes several Thank you pages. In the Home page Scripts and Tracking tab, there is a field with a URL (web address) that points to one of these thank you pages. You can find the Thank you pages in the Conversion Pages folder. 1. (Home page) is connected to 2. (Thank you page).

3. After you get your first page published and working for you, it is time to duplicate that 1. Home page, by right mouse clicking on the Home page and selecting, Duplicate just this page. (Note: If your site does not already have a second main page like, Business, Marketing, Opportunities, etc. then make a top level page and give it a name. We want to avoid adding pages under the Home page to keep our sitemap clean looking.)
Now go into the new page and change the keywords and content to what you want it to say. Because you duplicated the page, the data setup in the Scripts and Tracking tab will also be the same, and point to your Thank you page, the Home page was pointing to. Now you have two pages working for you.

4. Duplicate the second page and change the content again. Again, this page can be pointing to your Thank you page already setup. Save and Publish and you now have your third page working for you.

5. Duplicate any of your pages and change the content again. Only this time, go to the Scripts and Tracking tab and point this page to a new Thank you page under the Conversion Pages folder.

6. If you want, just duplicate one the of the Thank you pages and change the content. You will find the new URL under the Metadata tab. Yourdomain.com/page-name.

Affiliate System and Your Commissions

Landing Page / Capture Page Website System. Not Just A Website! by 220 Design Group and Steve Nyhof

Landing Pages / Capture Pages Content Management System for Professional Marketers. Much More Than A Website! 220 Design Group and Steve NyhofYou can login to our affiliate system and sign up as an affiliate. Once you sign up you will have access to a number of banners (like the ones shown here) that you can put on your blog or on a banner site to promote the LandingPages system.

Also, your LandingPages system comes with a promotional link at the bottom of each page. Currently, if someone wants to find out who built your website, they would click this link and be brought to the home page of landingpages.ws.

However, if you follow these instructions, you can replace this link with your own affiliate link, and therefore make a commission when someone purchases a LandingPages CMS for themselves.

Once you have been approved and logged into the LandingPages Affiliate System...

  1. Click on the Start button at the top left, then Promotion, and finally Banners & Links
  2. Scroll down and find the Link , Banner name: LandingPages Business System - Link Only
  3. Click on the Get Banner Code button and click in the code window
  4. Select and copy the code string to the clip board - Ctrl+C
  5. Go to the administration area of your LandingPages website...
  6. Click on the Global Settings page, and Global Content tab
  7. Click on the Global Scripts tab and scroll to the bottom
  8. Paste (Ctrl+V) your affiliate code in the Affiliate ID field
    Looks like this... http://landingpages.ws/dg/scripts/click.php?a=sn&b=1c9070b6
  9. Click on the Save and Publish button to save your changes

Now go to your website and click on the link on the bottom. This is now your affiliate link to profitable commissions.

Make sure to send your team members to your promotional link or banner on your blog when telling them about LandingPages.

Your website also includes a signup form to the affiliate system. When sending prospects to our LandingPages offer, and they purchase, they will be placed under you. Likewise, you can promote the affiliate system by getting your leads to sign up to the affiliate system from your personal signup form located at yourdomain.com/affiliate-signup.

(Note: Earlier systems did not include this page, and so you can use the link in the affiliate system under Signup Affiliates to promote the affiliate system to your leads.)

Please contact our office if you have questions at service@landingpages.ws

Promoting Your Landing Pages

When it comes to promoting your business offer, something may seem a little backwards. I'll explain in a minute. Blog's are different because they are meant to be primarily for branding by providing important information that gives credibility. When you use your blog for branding, you are utilizing the two best systems on the Internet by marketers. Wordpress for your blog, and LandingPages for your website. You can't even imagine it now, but soon enough, maybe even a few short months from now, you will have learned a great deal of information and experience that you will find easy to share to many who are ready to listen.

Your blog is mainly for researchers, your landing page is for buyers

When you use your blog to build your brand and the LandingPage system to sell your offers, you are positioning yourself to appear the most professional to your prospects. Your blog should use your name for the domain name, again because you want to brand yourself. When a blog turns into a mix of helpful information and pushy sales lingo, it turns people away because they are expecting something different, especially when your domain name is your name. They came to learn and you got in their face with a sales pitch. Use your blog to build credibility by sharing and teaching, then connect your Landing Page to your blog as the sales extension of your blog.

So what is backwards? Years ago, the first thing you did was find a domain name that fit your company. In fact many people including myself had abbreviated domain names that meant nothing to anyone - well, to me they did. Today, as a marketer you must work on knowing your market first, then locate your main keyword phrase you want to use, and then find the right domain name that fits your keyword phrase. Get your domain name last.

Your website typically comes with a temporary domain name. This does two things, allows us to put this system into your hands within hours, and allows you to take some time to research the market you want to target.

Micro Niche Finder is a tool I purchased a long time ago and has made keyword research very easy. In fact, many times when I thought I was on to something, Micro Niche Finder told me not to even try. I have used Micro Niche Finder to locate the keywords I wanted to use to write many Press Releases, and even boosted one of my business sites from 1200 new visitors a month to over 4000.

When I get a break, I will spend a day writing press releases, and let them roll. If I ever want to boost the sites again, I'll send the existing press releases and some new ones to SocialMarker, and also to Twitter to gain hits fast because it sends my press releases to the top of the first page of Google for these smaller niche markets. However, I have competed in some very competitive markets as well with great results.

Press Releases is one of the best ways to get your feet wet with Internet marketing, and to drive prospects to your website - typically within hours of submitting. I have seen my Press Releases on google in less then 20 minutes over and over. Don't think about the details now, just follow the link below and write your first press release now.

A Bigger Picture (Advanced)

This section is for the Serious Entrepreneur who wants more.

In home design and building, I would design every possible home with the idea that in the future it would be put up for sale. Seems kind of counter productive when it doesn't exist, and it is the last thing on the clients mind at the moment.

Yet, about every 5 years according to the national average, homes that were only recently designed and built, are now going on the market.

What does this have to do with Internet Marketing and your website? It has to do with what we put into anything we do now that will prove to yield a better return on our time/money investment in the future - short or long.

With everything I have done in my life, I have an answer as to why - most every detail. I may not always be right, but I am continually thinking about each thing I do. I hope you do too! Because of this, some might say I am a bit bull-headed, yet I push people for only so long before I back down and let others have their way. This may not always be wise on your part, be careful about what you are "sure" you know.

When it comes to websites and the Internet, technology and what is available today that can help you, I have some strong opinions. Some may be simple one sentience answers to a question, while others may require a small novel.

The link below shows an approximate one year plan to building your business one website at a time, but always moving up to the next level of where a marketer needs to go to excel and grow his or her business. I believe that only through the continual growth of understanding how to market on the Internet and more exposure through networking your own sites and others, that you will come to realize what very few people will as Internet Marketers.

I do not say these words to discourage you of the work that is ahead, but to give you direction; a picture of what you need to work toward. Most company's are interested in you selling their products, which is fine, but what about one or two years from now?

Then the model I designed, shown in this chart is made for you.

You need more than just great marketing materials. More than weekly webinars to keep you motivated. These are all good, but you need a long term plan and a vision that is bigger than understanding, but never bigger than faith as to where you want to be one or two years from now, and begin to formulate a picture like this in your minds eye.

This chart shows how every successful Internet marketer makes their mark on the web. It is through networking sites, building a lead base, learning how to create your own products and services, sell and upsell them, and finally operate a company training center with subscriptions and affiliate systems - just like you are following now. You will not necessarily leave who you are working with, but expanding into your own brand and offers.

Click here to download this image as a PDF. I made the chart 36 inches by 24 inches so you can have it printed and fit into a common frame.
